The Black Student Union believes each person has been created for a purpose. It seeks to consolidate this view with a Christ-centered educational experience that teaches about the history, culture, and social experiences of African Americans, Africans, and other ethnic and cultural minorities. The Black Student Union also seeks to facilitate a community base on faith-based accountability and spiritual mentorship. Members of the BSU will also encourage the spiritual development of undergraduates, graduates, and professors. Alumni of the CBU Black Student Union will be able to boast the wealth of knowledge they obtained from the community of California Baptist University to glorify God and distinguish themselves in the workplace and the world. They will also be able to articulate how their specific cultural experiences were acknowledged and valued by our community of faith. This Constitution subscribes to the regulations and policies of the university.

The Culture and Community Club's mission is to offer students a creative space to serve their community through fun events and community service opportunities. In the past, our club has hosted numerous biblically-rooted charity events such as our "Easter Basket" and our "Cookies and Cards" events where students contributed to providing an important service to Strong Families, a ministry for fostering children and caring for families in need and local veterans, elderly communities where cards were delivered to encourage those in need. We also host an annual "World Anthropology Day" event in which we recognize various cultures through educational activities as well as provide insight into Anthropology as a discipline for the CBU community. It's a form of academic connection (as part of the CORE FOUR at CBU).

The Formula SAE Internal Combustion (FSAE IC Club) provides students with the ability to gain practical engineering experience while getting their degree. In the FSAE IC club, students design, manufacture, and test a formula-style racing vehicle, with the aim of competing in the FSAE–Collegiate Design Series competition. Through this team-based project, FSAE IC aims to form students into Christ-centered engineers who reflect professionalism on their path to success in the field they choose.

FSAE IC provides a great opportunity for students to build their resumes. Students will gain design and manufacturing knowledge, work with people in various subsystems, and can become subsystem leads and/or other leadership. The Formula SAE competitions challenge teams of university undergraduate and graduate students to conceive, design, fabricate, develop and compete with small, formula style vehicles. The competition is an engineering education competition that requires performance demonstration of vehicles in a series of events, both off track and on track against the clock. Each competition gives teams the chance to demonstrate their creativity and engineering skills in comparison to teams from other universities around the world.

The Red Cross Club focuses on serving others in the community regardless of age, race, and background. During our meetings and events, officers will raise cross-cultural awareness about international emergencies. Members will be encouraged to discuss how these emergencies can be prevented and aided.

Members who volunteer will serve and improve the community through partnering with the American Red Cross and Volunteer Connection. The Red Cross Club participates in local city clean-ups, food drives, and youth enrichment in the community. The CBU Robotics Team encourages students to build teamwork, communication, and leadership skills while competing in an international, intercollegiate robotics competition. Our process includes design, manufacturing, programing, testing, and documentation. We practice public speaking and marketing skills as we work to obtain sponsors, engage the community, and build a robot and team that has style. God gave us creativity to use for His glory; let’s change the world!

For the 2024-2025 school year, our mission as a club is to stay biblically rooted by conducting Christian moral ethicality during both events and meetings, as well as praying before the start of anything. As president, I will plan, with my board members, events that will help develop a good foundation of knowledge and resources for the engineering industry, allowing members to gain crucial soft skills, and making them feel more academically prepared. Hosting events that are in collaboration with highschool students and industry workers, will allow members and industry workers to answer questions and create connections, equipping us to serve our community. These events will better prepare students for jobs as well as graduation. Knowing that SWE is a national organization, we as a club will collaborate with other SWE clubs at other universities and partner with high school STEM programs, to make SWE better known and to provide resources about joining and keep us globally minded.
