I wanted to remind everyone that the English Department is hosting Unhappy Hour TOMORROW (10/28) at 6:00PM in the James Staple Room! We will be there too so be sure to find our little sign-in sheet! Unhappy Hour welcomes all majors from CBU so bring a friend! Costumes are allowed as long as they are CBU-appropriate. It will be a spooky night! Bring some quick ghost stories (or poetry) to share during the open mic! There will be snacks and refreshments!
I also want to thank everyone who made it to our first club meeting last Thursday! We had a lot of fun getting to know each other and working on Advent pieces for the upcoming Dazed Starling Unbound: Advent edition! We look forward to seeing you again!
Upcoming Events include:
- A Night of Poetry (November 4, 2026 @ 7PM)
- An upcoming day-time meetup so we can meet some of our commuter friends or other friends who can't make it to our night meetings! (Stay tuned).
We're also encouraging you to write an Advent piece for the Dazed Starling Unbound Advent. The deadline is November 1, 2026. We will send another email with more info later this week!
