Mission
The mission of the ASL Club is to encourage and support students pursuing careers related to the Deaf community by offering and facilitating activities that promote greater Deaf awareness, learning opportunities, and relationship building among Deaf friends in the community and among fellow classmates.

Membership Benefits
o The ASL club offers numerous benefits, including enhanced communication skills, greater cultural awareness, and valuable networking opportunities. Members gain a deeper understanding of Deaf culture while participating in clubs and attending Deaf events that promote inclusion. Membership shall be open to any CBU student interested in being involved with the Deaf-World. The club provides resources such as Tutoring, Practice sessions with fluent signers, and fun social events like the ASL showcase and the ASL Banquet and games to practice ASL in a relaxed setting. Additionally, members develop advocacy skills that enhance their ability to promote accessibility in various spheres of life, all within a supportive and diverse community.
